My name is Thanisha. I'm 33 years old, " Getting more mature or getting old, (Laugh) "
I’m married and have two lovely kids (boys), Christopher and Gregory. I've lived in Australia since 2004 but was born and raised in Thailand.
I’m just a typical Asian girl who likes cooking, music, green smoothies, nail art, pretty and cute stuff. I also have a huge passion for crochet, knitting and love anything that has to do with yarn. I decided to give it a go on this blog to share my passion for crafts, crochet, knitting and maybe some beauty, life styles and anything else I enjoy in life. :) Sometimes I struggle to share in English because it’s my second language. Huge thank you to my hubby who has been helping me a lot.
Like I said English is my second language. So please do not judge my English too harshly and thank you for your understanding. I'll try my best don't worry. hehe 😁
In the future I plan to re-start my own youtube channel again (I tried and failed many times before) ! Lol it’s okay I’ll still try🤗🤣
At the moment I am still in the process of trying to set up my blog, (3 years past lol )so the next few days of posts might come and go, be random in nature or get edited a lot. Please bear with me <3 ^^ <3
Thank you for your understanding. xo
Please come back and visit my blog again soon :”)
Thank you for visiting my blog :”)
Hope everyone is having a great day :”)
<3 …The Biggest Adventure You Can Take Is To Live The Life Of Your Dreams… <3
Hi everyone, it has been awhile since my last post. Sometimes I forget that I have a website lol. I know I should pay more attention and be more active but it is what it is hey! 🤣
I haven’t been active about crafts such as sewing, knitting and crocheting in the past couple of months. I banded myself from crafts stores. 🥳🥳🥳👍
This week I couldn’t resist anymore when Lincraft had 40% off store wide. 😳 I straight to the yarn shopping and I went crazy lol. I had a lot of good time in Lincraft and a big smile 😀 when I walked out the door. I might do yarn haul after… I don’t know will see.
Today is a another good day because I have a simple yet cute hair scrunchie pattern that I’ve seen them everywhere on the internet and I think they’re so simple and so cute! I don’t know why I didn’t already knitted one for myself. I’ve been enjoy knitting them and I hope you do too. So I’m going to share with you incase some of you haven’t knitted one before like me. It’s very easy to knit and beginner friendly in my opinion.
I crocheted hair scrunchies before and I think I prefer a knit more than a crochet version. which version do you prefer? please share 😀
Row;2 Repeat row 1 until the work piece matured 2” or more depends on what type of yarn you are using. we are going to fold the work piece in half. my piece matured 1.5”. This’ll be how thick of a hair scrunchie.
Cut the yarn and leave a long tail to sew the long edges of work piece together.
Insert a hairband in-between the fold and sew the long edges of the work piece to the end. Sew the ends to close the hole. Adjudge the hairband till you liking and walaaaa! you just knitted yourself very cute and cool hair scrunchies…. let’s make some more and enjoy knitting.
Today my family and I were going to go to the beach. But the weather is rainy, windy and overcast. So we changed our mind and spending the day relaxing at home. So I have time to post something about my jumper.
Sometime last week I went to Spotlight (craft store). I guess it might be similar to Micheal or Joann stores in America. I wouldn’t have a clue because I’ve never been there, only heard about it. Anyway, I went to Spotlight last week.. lol yeah I know! I have an addiction / obsession problem with Spotlight. 😀 But only the craft sections especially the yarn aisle; “Life’s to short let’s buy more yarn”, why not? hahaha
I followed the YouTube tutorial called Toe up socks by Craft House Magic. I followed almost every step except on the top of my sock I decided to put a cable and make my socks shorter.
My thoughts about the trio needles.. well I think they’re great because 3 DPN are less complicated than 5 DPN. Why? Because 3 DPN are more flexible so they can bend and move around more easily if they are in your way. You have to try it yourself to know exactly what I mean.
Right now I’m so seriously happy and proud. Why? Because I just made my very first knitted sweater for my son. I’ve never thought that I would attempt to even make one. I always thought it’s too complicated to make, better to buy.
Two days ago I went to the shop and saw a similar to this sweater. I was about to buy it but my hubby said to me ” you can make it yourself ” then I looked at him and smiled a little and said ” yes I think I will do it myself, I won’t pay $90 for a machine made sweater! 😁 Let’s go buy yarn ” Lol
